Calling wise women forward

Since childhood I am questioning the way people move through life. So much felt off since I was little.

These last years, things are starting to fall into place about why I felt that way. It’s because most of what we’ve been thought is disempowering beyond our bones.

The way we’ve been educated to become loyal workers, the way we’ve been disconnected from our bodies and the way we’ve been disconnected from our spiritual essence and creative powers.

But now we move to a completely new paradigm. One where people are waking up to the fact that a new narrative is available for those who are willing to walk through the shadows that have been cast upon us and we therefore cast upon each other and ourselves.

I’m telling you: the good girl era is over. Instead the wise woman gracefully will take her place. Not longer afraid of the dark, knowing that also light resides there.

Pondering about this, it hit me this week.

I finally understood what my art has been about all my life. It is my soul calling the wise women forward through me. Women that have been kept small for so many years, just like I was and still am struggling with. The ones who are told not to take up space, to act politely, to keep their opinions for themselves and to keep the peace at all cost.

It makes sense now. The organic feminine shapes, the energy, the aliveness.

All a remembrance.

For me, for you, for the women that came before us and will come after us.

If you see my art here on this website or on your timeline, let it be a reminder of your aliveness, your worthiness and your depth. Let it be welcomed. Turn this remembrance into action, even if it is small, even if it is challenging, even if others are not ready for it yet.

It’s time to flip the script.
Ready to flip it with me?

PS Yes I am aware that men have feminine power that asks to step out of the dark too. It’s and/and. More on that in future posts.
