About me

I draw before I think.

For almost 25 years, I’ve worked as a brand designer. I also spent nine years working in healthcare as a creative coach. That’s where I learned something that never left me: environments are never neutral. A wall, a shape, a line… It’s always doing something to the person standing in front of it, whether anyone planned it or not.
Design taught me how to do that on purpose.

Presence, not performance

My work starts with intuitive ink drawings. No sketching, no correction, just me and whatever source wants to metabolize through me. What comes out isn’t decoration. It’s a trace of something real, and that’s exactly why it works on paper, on a wall, on a panel, or in a breathing video for a waiting room. The nervous system responds to organic form before the mind forms an opinion about it. It feels seen and nurtured. This response is ancient, and it’s this response I design for, whether it’s a single ink drawing sold as an original or a full identity built for a brand.

Two ways this shows up

Most of my time now goes into autonomous work: drawings and a new line of coordinated interior pieces I create together with my partner Michel (launch this fall). Alongside that, I choose select collaborations with brands whose vision aligns with mine: I’ve built brand identity for tea label Mevrouw Cha, developed wallpaper and PET felt wall panel designs for WANDD and Viltstore, and I build beautiful immersive experiences with singer Hédi Carlee. These aren’t side projects, they’re the same practice, applied at a different scale, for people who already carry the vision and simply need it made visible.

If you’re drawn to organic form, and work that’s about presence over performance, you’re in the right place. Some of what I make is ready to take home today. Some of it is built together, for a space or a brand that’s ready for its next level. Either way, it starts the same way it always has: with a line, and the conviction that images don’t decorate. They activate.

Images don’t decorate. They activate.

I love to work with Cora, she brings in Calm Vibes, where I teach people to unstress and focus. So here work makes the world better just as mine does. Let’s work together to make more of it.

Art is a personal act of courage, something one human does, that creates change in another.

Art isn’t only a painting. Art is anything that’s creative, personal and passionate.

And great art resonates with the viewer, not only with the creator.
